In Thekaddy we will be visiting the famous Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary and Periyar Tiger Reserve. One of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries of the country is also India’s southern most tiger reserve. The sanctuary sprawls over an area of 777 sq. km.The rest of the day in Thekkady can be spent in boating on the crystal clear Periyar Lake (optional), or on going for a spice plantation tour (optional) or by experiencing the traditional Ayurvedic massage (optional).
